The 25 Best Pieces in the Mango Sale
January is a weird time for shopping. Some of us are still picking up bits to hold us over through the later half of winter. Others are already looking ahead to their spring wardrobes. Some are even participating in no-shop January. While I fully support a shopping bans here and there, I’ve found myself struggling to fill my closet with weather-appropriate pieces, because frankly, we are all over the place weather-wise here in Southern California.
Luckily, for those of you looking to pick up some amazing pieces in the sales, I’ve put together a collection of some of my favorites. I look to Mango throughout the year for high-quality and designer-inspired pieces for a fraction of the price. I absolutely love their cool artsy bags and their collection of classic blouses and pants. Here are a few pieces that I’m absolutely obsessing over at the minute and may just be adding to my cart very soon.
What to look for…
Biker Jackets in Suede (and Shearling!) : A biker jacket is a year round staple and Mango has outdone itself with a gorgeous suede number that’s on sale for $99! This is a great price for a jacket like this and it comes in so many cute color choices, not to mention it’s the PERFECT piece for layering in the spring. I’m adding this to my bag as soon as I decide between the beige and brown. Another amazing piece that’s also on sale is the faux-shearling biker of my dreams. I’ve decided against purchasing yet another winter coat but if you’re on the lookout for something a bit lighter, I could not suggest this one more! Or if you’re looking for your basic black biker jacket, they have a very well-priced faux-leather piece that’s worth checking out.
White Boots: I love this trend from Autumn/Winter and can definitely see it carrying into the spring season. There is something so sleek and unexpected about a white heeled boot. I’ve added two distinct styles to my sale roundup, one is a more edgy biker style and the other is a sleek heeled boot with a very 60’s square toe that I love!
Peachy Pinks: One color I’m getting super excited to bring into my wardrobe this spring is the peachy pink color. There are so many ways to wear this cute pop of color, from a simple crossbody bag or a fine knit sweater ($11.99!!) to the bolder of choices: a fabulous pink corduroy jacket that I am drooling over. I might try pairing this shade with my favorite chestnut brown color that was huge this season as well.
Teeny Tiny Statement Bag: While I certainly haven’t gotten on board with the belt bag (bum bag? fanny pack?) trend, IF I HAD TO, I would immediately reach for this amazing faux-croc belt bag. I’ve also got my heart eyes on this geometric mini bag, that is very Polène-esque, and comes in both black and a beautiful croc print.
