A Brand Worth Raving About

I recently had the pleasure of working with Tribe Alive, a brand that truly embodies everything I love about sustainable fashion. They create high-quality, minimalist pieces with the most beautiful attention to detail. The pieces work seamlessly into my capsule wardrobe, they’re ethically produced by female artisans around the world and they’re meant to be worn and loved for years. I will be sharing a few other pieces from Tribe Alive over the next few weeks. These are not sponsored posts, I just want to highlight a brand that I love and share it with you all too.

Shades Of Summer Whites

Linen has long been a summer-time favorite of mine. It’s natural, lightweight, and makes a great sun coverup. And I know that wrinkling can be an issue with linen, but in my opinion it doesn’t really bother me and it’s just the nature of the fabric. With a looser silhouette, it becomes less of an issue. I can’t wait to throw on this Oversized Linen Tunic over a bikini for beach days, as it’s actually quite long. I’m also planning to style this top with a loose fitting bottom for a super casual and chic oversized look. When it comes to styling white and neutral outfits for summer, I like to mix different shades of off—white together for a tonal look. I find this the easiest way to wear white, without it looking too matchy.

The Perfect Wide Leg Pant

I’ve tried a few wide leg pants from different brands over the past few years and could never find quite the right fit for my long legs and torso. But these High Rise Pants have the perfect fit, which I believe comes down to the flattering high waist cut. The off-white upcycled denim material makes them feel sturdy (no annoying wrinkling) and gives them a different texture and look to anything else in my wardrobe. I try to switch up my usual denim a bit more during the spring and summer with some lighter colored bottoms but I will definitely be wearing these in the cooler months too with lots of knits.

The Bucket Bag

While some people may think of a bucket bag as a sort of a one time buy, I find it’s actually my preferred style of a handbag. I just love the unique and unexpectedness of the shape. It’s also nice to have a more structured handbag, as most of my outfits are more casual, so it’ dresses them up a bit. This bucket bag from Trademark (which is now defunct?) was an investment purchase of mine from last year, and I’ve been itching to get more use out of it this year. It's a gorgeous bag and one I’m going to get use out of for a long time.
