Fall Wardrobe Staples: My Most Worn Pieces this Month

Working with a smaller wardrobe has been the best decision I could have made this year. I’ve learned to get more wear out of the things I own, shop smarter and with more intention, and also care for my pieces to ensure that they last longer. With that in mind, I thought it might be fun to share a monthly round up of the pieces in my wardrobe that I’ve been wearing the most.

Lilysilk Cashmere Pullover

There is nothing I’ve wanted to wear more lately than a fuzzy, warm sweater. Next to my Sezane Louise Jumper (which I sadly shrunk in the wash) the Lilysilk Cashmere Pullover has been my most worn knit, hands down. I love the casual hoodie style combined with the luxe cashmere material and beautiful warm taupe color. The quality is excellent, no pilling or shedding after many wears and washes. High recommend this piece if you’re looking for a more casual knit.

ArmedAngels Aanike Jeans

I am absolutely crazy about the wide leg fit of the ArmedAngels Aanike Jeans. I picked these up at a local boutique here in Hackney but I see have been recently restocked on their website as well. I will say, these took some time to get used to styling, as I’ve not worn such a wide leg before but the new silhouette adds a subtle update to my wardrobe.

Sezane Leo Coat

The hardest working piece in my wardrobe at the moment, the Sezane Leo Coat has been keeping me warm and cozy on the chilliest days of Autumn. I love the big, boxy fit, high collar and textured boucle material. The shorter length makes it feel a bit more casual and easy to wear day to day. And the simple design means it works with just about everything in my wardrobe at the moment.

PAKA Breathe Hoodie & Joggers

For more casual days I’ve been reaching for a cozy Alpacan wool hoodie and matching joggers from PAKA in the Ivory color, as well as their wool ankle socks. These pieces are lightweight and super warm and toasty for early morning walks and time spent at home. Typically I wear a cotton lounge set but because of the cooler temps here in London, I’ve found myself relying more heavily on cashmere and wool materials to stay warm. A wool activewear set has been a welcome addition to my A/W wardrobe.

VIVAIA Aria 5° Pointed Toe Flats

While not the most practical shoe choice for London this time of year, I’ve been reaching for my VIVAIA Aria 5° Flats quite often, simply because they’re incredibly comfortable to walk in and look nice with most of my pants. I’m usually more of a round toe shoe person but I can’t argue with the understated elegance of a pointed toe style. I feel these perfectly dress up a casual jeans and t-shirt outfit and they have a bit more foot coverage than my Freda Salvador Phoebe Mules which I was wearing a lot last month.
