Cuyana Mini System Tote Review | AD

I recently added the Cuyana Mini System Tote to my wardrobe after deciding I needed a non-black leather option to round out my small handbag collection. I love the Cappuccino color as it’s a warm neutral that can be worn year round and works with so many other colors. Cuyana is a sustainable handbag brand that I often recommend and for good reason. So today I thought I’d share some first impressions of the Mini System Tote and how I plan to incorporate it into my wardrobe.

First Impressions

I tend to go for smaller handbags for everyday, so the size and weight of this feels just right. The quality and buttery softness of the leather is right in line with the other Cuyana products I’ve tried. The inside of the bag is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for all my essentials and then some (like a book or camera). The inside snap closures secure it shut and I absolutely love the option of adding an adjustable strap to wear it as a crossbody bag for easy hands-free access. The Cappuccino (warm taupe) color is a wonderful all-seasons option that’s a bit softer than black and works with both warm and cool tones.

How to Style

One of my main reasons for choosing this particular color is that it’s an alternative to my black leather handbag when I need something a bit softer, especially ideal for going Spring and Summer. While my wardrobe is mostly neutrals and will therefore easily pair with the Mini System Tote, it will also come in handy when styling my nude toned heeled sandals and floral print dress.
