Romantic Tops & All White

Is there anything more chic and summery than an all white ensemble? As someone who instantly gravitates towards darker pieces (note the black whole that is my wardrobe) this felt very different for me. And at the same time, a monochrome look is really not far off from what I like any other day.

This blouse with a tiny polka dot print, which I picked up from Zara a few months ago, is also a bit different for me. I personally see myself as having a frame that lends itself nicely to more androgynous styling, especially for tops. I like tops with a lot of room, as I have quite long arms and broad shoulders so I try to avoid more form-fitting tops that have me tugging and adjusting all day. That said, I do really love a romantic, flowing top like this one and part of getting out of my comfort zone is to embrace a more feminine neckline and cut. And, of course thats all pointless if I am not genuinely comfortable and happy at the end of that detour from the comfort zone. I can honestly say, I felt so good in this outfit, so I'm labeling this little experiment a success in my books.
