3 Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I’m so excited for the quality family time and of course all the delicious comfort food. I saw a few of these styling videos over on Instagram and was inspired to make my own. So here are 3 Thanksgiving outfit ideas, whether you’re planning to spend the day on the couch or want to dress things up a bit for the occasion. And be sure to watch the full video reel on my Instagram.

Outfit 1: Cozy Casual

This is what I’ll most likely be wearing come Thanksgiving. Comfortable jeans with a bit of give is a necessity. I’m in love with my new Tradlands Modern Fisher Sweater; it feels like the perfect holiday sweater. The classic cable knit is updated with a modern boxy, slightly cropped cut and dropped shoulders. I like how it looks with a contrasting tee peaking out of the top. And I’m very tempted to throw on my Birks with some thick cozy socks that I’ll be wearing most of the day.

Outfit 2: Simple & Chic

If you’re feeling like you’d want to dress things up just a bit to mark the occasion, try a pair of black stretchy pants with a patterned top and heels. I love the cropped cut of these Encircled Wide Leg Pants, especially paired with an ankle boot. While this striped tee is pretty casual on its own, it’s super easy to elevate with a few key pieces. And a denim jacket adds an extra bit of warmth if needed.

Outfit 3: Comfort Is Key

If you’re planning for a super low-key Thanksgiving, why not throw on your favorite pair of sweats, a cute knit sweater and some cozy slippers. You can always add a bit of interest with some simple jewelry too. If 2020 has taught us anything it’s that we should prioritize our own well-being over all the other craziness of the season. So grab your spot on the couch, kick back with and take it easy.
